Another week had just begun and I arrived to my dormroom, and I began to set things up and get ready to go to school. After a rather boring lesson of working on the computer, it was time for the last lesson of the day, Physical Education. During PE, you could usually choose what you wanted to do. Most of my classmates stayed inside, and a few of them wanted to play frisbee golf outside. I settled with having a walk.

After the teacher finished talking, I left the building and headed towards the forest; the place where I most often go to on PE lessons. During the times I head there, I'm the only one walking around, so it's usually quite peaceful. There were atleast five paths to choose from, each associated with a color. I chose green this time, that path being the "middle ground" of sorts; not too long, not too short. It did have a few steep hills, but getting your heart pumping and sweat drippling is one of the goals of PE, isn't it?

The weather was mixed, to say the least. The temperature was about 5c°, and the winds were cold and strong. Nevertheless, the sky was clear, and the sun was shining through the many trees of the forest, close to being extinguished behind the hills. I had a thick jacket, comfy sweatpants, thin fabric gloves and a woolly hat; enough for me to endure the weather. The constantly swaying trees and howling wind did make me a little uneasy, however.

The walk in the woods was otherwise pleasant. I even took a little stop to take a picture of the sun's rays shining against the treetops. After getting exhausted from walking up a steep uphill, I was near a small opening, the path going right on the edge of it. As I panted and collected myself from the steep walking, I looked around towards the other side of the opening. For a brief moment, I swore I saw a glimpse of something moving incredibly fast fast. It flashed towards the right side of my field of vision, and dissapeared towards where I couldn't see. I wasn't shaken, but after that sight, I had the sensation of tasting iron for a moment.

I continued walking on the path, breathless from exhaustion. I still felt the faint taste of iron in my mouth, but I didn't really care much about it. The sun was setting and it didn't reach where I was, making everything look pale. After a while of walking, I was back at the start of the many paths of the forest. As the schoolday was pretty much finished, I went back to my dormroom.

There wasn't any unusual sightings reported. I didn't tell about this occasion to anyone. Nobody would really believe me. Plus I didn't deem it that significant, either. The taste of iron faded away pretty soon after getting out of the forest, too. Thinking back to it, the form I saw in there looked roughly like a humpbacked humanoid. Finland is full of uninhabited forests; who knows what kind of things can lurk in there?
Inspiration struck and decided to whip up another story.

(thanks to a friend of mine for helping with my grammar, you know who you are~)
